Highly intelligent, these cats are keen to play games with or on their owners. Adept at opening doors, stealing hearts and generally outsmarting their humans. Indeed the only kind of superiority that appeals to the Gemini is the intellectual variety and in the cunning Bengal, they meet their match CANCER (June 21 – July 22) Sphynx cat Both homebodies at heart, the Sphynx cat a perfect match for Cancer. The Cat Fanciers Association maintains, “Sphynx are truly a rare treasure and should be kept indoors, neutered or spayed and provided with loving and interactive surroundings to maintain a healthy, long and enjoyable life.” Unlike many other cat breeds, the Sphynx is not opposed to a bath, the natural habitat of the melancholic Cancer. Getty Images/iStockphoto Pisces is ruled by Neptune, planet of dreams and illusions and never has there been a cat more cut from a dreamscape or a DMT trip than the wonderfully flat faced Persian. The Persian, like the average Pisces, tears up more frequently than other breeds or signs. A mutable water sign, Pisces is synonymous with poetry and from calico to smoke, the descriptions of this breed verge on the ludicrously lyrical, case in point, “The chinchilla is a sparkling white cat with black tipping scattered as evenly as stardust” or “Their brilliant copper eyes seem almost like burning embers within the smoke setting.” Astrology 101: Your guide to the stars Astrologer Reda Wigle researches and irreverently reports back on planetary configurations and their effect on each zodiac sign.

anyone suspected. But it also showed us just how much cats were esteemed in Cyprus – over four millennia before the ancient Egyptians began to revere their catty companions (often shaving off their eyebrows in mourning when the family pet met its maker!). Tala park Humans have long had a loving relationship with cats. Today, they’re the world’s favourite pet, outnumbering their canine counterparts by three to one. But they’re also the most frequent stray – in Cyprus alone, it’s believed there are 200,000 stray dogs, but 2 million stray cats. It’s a number that’s constantly increasing. One of the best-known sanctuaries in Cyprus, Tala Cat Park homes 850 cats at the moment. “But that’s just a drop in the ocean,” says Mark Foote who, along with wife Dawn, founded the Paphos sanctuary roughly a decade ago. Today, the couple have rehomed over 1,500 cats in total – mostly in Cyprus, but many to the UK, Germany and Holland – and have neutered thousands more. “And that’s really the answer to the stray issue,” says Mark. “Cats can produce a litter up to three times a year, so neutering – removing a female cat’s reproductive bits – is crucial. As is spaying, the process that stops tom cats from reproducing. Good temperament, easy to train, love them.'  4. German shorthair pointer 'These are beautiful super athletic happy dogs. I honestly can't think of one I have seen that was not happy.  Definitely high energy though, you do not want to own these if you are sedentary, if you do not like adventure, if you do not like taking them for walks every day.  These are athletic dogs, they need to be exercised or they will destroy stuff. Love them, great dogs beautiful dogs.' 5.  Great Pyrenees 'They don't necessarily do great at the vet typically because they are herding dogs. They are out there with the goats, sheep, farm animals, if they're actually doing a job so a lot of them aren't used to being inside or around people.  They're not necessarily the best at the vet but I love them I've had several, they've been the best dogs, I love them so much.' Most lenders require a credit score of 740 or higher to qualify for the lowest interest rates available. If your credit is in the low 700s or even the 600s, Ostrowski says making credit card and loan payments on time, not carrying a balance on your lines of credit and reducing your credit utilization are all ways to improve your credit score.
