With restrictive knowledge about periods also comes the issue of addressing the concerns surrounding it when looked through the lens of intersexuality. With one in five girls dropping out of school when they start menstruating, period poverty in India is a serious issue. We need in-depth research and a cumulative approach to improve the lives of menstruators. We often hear about what a woman must not do when menstruating. We have prejudices ranging from “do not touch the pickle”, “do not wear white”, to “do not step on religious and sacred premises”. Menstruators are seldom taught what it actually is. We aren’t informed how it impacts our hormones, mental health, and physiological well-being. Niharika Sharma and Ananya Chhaochharia started Paint It Red to find solutions to these concerns. Several NFL teams are getting new uniforms and helmets for the 2022 season while others are making changes to current sets.
The biggest change is the NFL dropping its one-helmet rule; many teams have added an alternate helmet this year with more sure to come.
Dropping the helmet rule also means we will see several popular throwback uniforms for the first time in many years.
The most popular change is the addition of a black helmet as six teams have gone this route.

After going through a few architects, the duo decided to approach A R Sathya Prakash Varanashi, the curator of Sathya consultants, an expert in eco-friendly and cost-effective housing. “Ecological houses should be designed for nature, with nature and of nature. All three approaches have been incorporated to a larger extent in this construction,” says the architect.

If there was ever a definition of a comfortable seat, this house would be it. In one of the biggest seizure of gold along the India-Bangladesh border, South Bengal Frontier of the Border Security Forest (BSF) has seized 41.49 kgs of gold valuing ₹21.22 crore. This may be the highest ever gold seized in one instance along the eastern border of the country. The seizure took place near Gunarmath Border outpost under Bongaon Police station, in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district. “At around 18.30 hrs, the ambush party witnessed the movement of about 7-8 suspected smugglers crossing the international border by a wooden country made boat over Ichhamati River and entering inside the Indian territory with some bags. On being challenged by the ambush party, they tried to confront the BSF troops, but the BSF Jawans quickly moved forward and the smugglers jumped into the river and reiterated back to the Bangladesh side, leaving behind all the goods,” a press statement by the BSF, South Bengal.
