A cheeky veterinary nurse handed her colleagues a leaving cake that looked just like a used cat litter tray that was so realistic one was too repulsed to even eat it. Crissy Lister decided to give her work pals something to remember her by when she rustled up the funny leaving cake served in an actual litter tray last month (June 22nd). The senior vet nurse, who regularly took Maine Coon cross puss Arlo into work with her as an emotional support animal, was inspired by a similar kitty-themed cake she spotted years ago. On her last day at West Mount Vets in Halifax, West Yorkshire, she was unable to take the three-year-old puss in with her so wanted to incorporate her furry friend in her farewell cake. The 31-year-old whipped up a vanilla sponge cake topped with crumble to resemble cat litter and 'questionable' chocolate icing 'poops'. The sweet treat was served up in a brand-new litter tray complete with food scoop and a picture of Arlo with a speech bubble that reads 'Goodbyes are sh*t'. Crissy, from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, said: "A couple of people were a bit sceptical about eating it. "One person wasn't a fan and silver maine coon kittens for sale

Following Kiera's sad passing, Noel posted a video on his Instagram to reflect and remember his beloved dog. He said: "She was our sister, our daughter, our family member. "She's been by my side for 14 years. Through all the ups and downs, ins and outs; she sat on my knee when I was writing lectures or doing reports", he emotionally continued. Noel tearfully spoke about how he will have "unconditional love" for his late dog. Speaking to Lorraine in November, Noel broke down in tears as he spoke about the passing of Keira, calling her his "best friend in the whole wide world." Sadly five months after the loss of Kiera, Noel also lost his mum, Rita who died at the age of 92. Heartbroken Noel said he "loved his mammy more than words". However, with all the grief that the vet has faced, he has only gone from strength to strength. READ NEXT What is happening where you live? Find out by adding your postcode or visit InYourArea

could be taken as a healthy animal and be euthanised, either without our consent for whatever reason that may be or that a second option is not sought, I think is something that legislation is needed to remedy.” Mr Daly said that common practice in disposing of cats killed on the roadside is to put the animal into landfill “without reference to the owner”, adding: “That is not acceptable.” He said: “Cats are part of our families, are part of who we are, and I know you, Mr Speaker, would agree completely with that.” Mr Daly said local councils should be given a scanner and required to “bag the cat who had been killed in tragic circumstances, to record where the cat was found, and to scan the microchip”. He added: “This would allow owners of cats to be reunited with their much-loved pets. If an animal is part of your family, it doesn’t matter what stage of their life it is, you want to know what has happened to it.” As Mr Daly concluded, Sir Lindsay said: “Can I just say I am fully supportive of what you are trying to do?” The Commons Speaker recently brought his newest maine coon breeders uk
